Dreaming of Books Giveaway Hop


Welcome to my Dreaming of Books Giveaway Hop, hosted by I Am A Reader, Not A Writer & Martha's Bookshelf. Thank you, ladies, for hosting!

The rules of this giveaway stipulate that I must offer something that a reader, blogger or author would enjoy, so what could be better than my old standby of offering a book (or books) of your choice from the Book Depository. This time, however, you have $20 to spend, so if you want to get two or three books or a bunch of bargain books, it's your choice to that $20 as you see fit.

Now, I normally wouldn't do this, but if you don't follow me could you please consider it? I'm only 6 followers away from 600. It's not a stipulation to enter or to win, but it would totally make my week if I could hit that milestone.

    I don't have a favourite, but there are lots of series I love so much I reread them quite often. Like the Elemental Assassin series by Jennifer Estep, the Black Jewel series by Anne Bishop,the Codex Alera by Jim Butcher or the Meg Langslow mysteries by Donna Andrews. :)

    I have a ton of favorites and I read a lot but one that has been a constant since about 1990 or earlier (I don't want to give my age away too much here!) is a series by Raymond Feist starting with the book Magician. His first three or four books were incredible and after that there are quite a few that are still really great fantasy books by him. That being said, I also like a lot of the newer stuff and really like indie authors but he's probably my all time favorite ever series, if that makes sense!

    Hi! :) Oh boy... well, in science, while not a series, if it has Stephen Hawking as an author, I will probably grab it. In Romance - the Bridgertons by Julia Quinn, the Wallflowers and the Hathaways (I think) by Lisa Kleypas, the KGI series by Maya Banks... and those are only the first three I can think of!

    I'd have to say Harry Potter. I believe it's actually the only whole series of books I've read. I usually end up reading a couple books in a series, but don't finish all of them. Potter was the exception! Loved it.

    This one is hard. "Twilight" was a really addictive series but I think that on the whole I enjoyed the "Fifty Shades of Grey" series more.
    I also love the Sookie Stackhouse books and the 'Perfect Chemistry' series.

    I have a few. I really enjoyed The Flappers series by Jillian Larkin and The Luxe Series. I also love The Shopaholic series by Sophie Kinsella and The Dark Tower by Stephen King. Oh and I can't forget the Heather Welles series by Meg Cabot. They are so much fun! And the Sookie Stackhouse series was my absolute favorite until the 10th book.

    Hi! I really, really love Chaos Walking trilogy by Patrick Ness. I didn't expect to be blown away by this series, really, I didn't even know that I would end up liking - loving the book.
